After being closed since March 22nd, Chatuchak Weekend Market, the world’s largest weekend market, re-opened on May 9th, 2020. Anyone who misses shopping at the world famous Chatuchak Market and surrounding areas such as the Chatuchak Flower & Plant Market, the Chatuchak Aquarium Fish Market, and Mixt Chatuchak Shopping Center, can now come back to enjoy shopping under the ‘new normal’ guidelines.
New safety, hygiene and social distancing measures have been put in place to prevent and control the spread of COVID-19. These measures are only a minor inconvenience that you must follow in order to come back and enjoy the Chatuchak shopping atmosphere. Shoppers must wear a face mask when entering the Chatuchak Weekend Market, and those with a temperature >37.5 C will be denied entry. Alcohol hand gel usage and frequent hand washing is recommended for all visitors.
A wide variety of plants and flowers can be found at the Chatuchak Flower & Plant Market. Whether it be decorative flowers, edible plants, perennial plants or even the latest trend of air purifying plants, you can find them here at Thailand’s largest flower and plant market.
The Chatuchak Flower & Plant Market has reopened since May 5th, 2020. You can come select your favorite flowers and plants from the many vendors during the following hours:

Thursday 05.00 AM – 06.00 PM (some shops start to move out in the afternoon)
The Chatuchak Aquarium Fish Market is home to a wide variety of fish shops. Whether it be betta fish (Siamese fighting fish), discus, koi, goldfish, specialty shrimp, aquatic plants or even arowanas, you can find a large selection at the Chatuchak Aquarium Fish Market. Prices range from 5-10 THB per fish to over 10,000 THB tropical fish for professional fish collectors.

Mixt Chatuchak shops range from new trendy Restaurants, Fashion items, Accessories, Home Décor and Souvenirs. There is also an Adidas and Puma Outlet shop on the 1st floor. You can relax from a long hot day of walking in the Chatuchak Market by enjoying a Thai massage or getting your nails done on the 2nd floor of Mixt Chatuchak. On the 3rd floor of Mixt Chatuchak, you will find a large, hygienic, air-conditioned food court with tasty dishes starting from only 35THB. A large car park is available on the 4th, 5th, and 6th floors.

To visit Chatuchak Market via public transportation, shoppers can take the BTS Skytrain and exit at Mo Chit station, or the MRT subway and exit at Chatuchak station. For those arriving via automobile, a large parking lot is available at the Mixt Chatuchak Shopping Center. Mixt Chatuchak Shopping Center is located directly next to the Chatuchak Weekend Market and the Chatuchak Aquarium Fish Market.
